Malayalam actor Priya Prakash Varrier made her way into the hearts of fans across territories, thanks to her now famous winking in a song sequence. After becoming an overnight sensation, offers started pouring in for the 19-year-old. We hear from reliable sources that even before her Malayalam debut Oru Adaar Love hits the marquee, Priya is already poised to make her Telugu debut as well with the remake of the same film.

VKA Films, which recently made Ego, has approached the actor for their next production featuring Aashish Raj Bidkikar in the lead. Confirming the news, producer Anil Karan of VKA films says, “We have initiated talks with director Omar Lulu for the Telugu remake and also approached Priya Prakash Varrier for the female lead’s role. The duo are pleased with our proposal and we will meet Omar and Priya for a meeting later this week in Kerala to complete other formalities. The film will have Aashish Raj of Ego fame as the protagonist.”

While the Malayalam version is being directed by Omar Lulu, the Telugu remake will be helmed by a newcomer. Also starring Siyadh Shajahan and Roshan Abdul Rahoof, Oru Adaar Love is slated for release on June 14.
