Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas hosted the first of their two Mumbai wedding receptions on Wednesday night. The event was attended by their close friends and family, as well as the media. The second reception, kept exclusively for Bollywood celebrities, will be held tonight from 9 pm.
Priyanka and Nick were married over two ceremonies on December 1 and 2 at Jodhpur’s Umaid Bhavan Palace in Rajasthan. The wedding was attended by their immediate families, including Priyanka’s cousin sister Parineeti Chopra and Nick’s parents and brothers. Game of Thrones actor Sophie Turner, fiancée of Joe Jonas, also attended the wedding. #NickYanka then hosted a wedding reception in New Delhi that was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The guest list for the Bollywood reception tonight includes Deepika Padukone. Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and others. The dress code for the evening is expected to be ethnic and Indo-western outfits.
On the work front, Priyanka Chopra is presently working on Shonali Bose’s The Sky Is Pink. The film also stars Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim.
