Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas kick off their wedding ceremonies in Mumbai 

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas kicked off their wedding ceremonies today with a puja at Priyanka’s Versova residence in Mumbai. The couple was accompanied by Nick’s brother, Joe Jonas, and his fiancee Sophie Turner. Priyanka and Jonas will be married on December 2 at the Umaid Bhawan Palace Hotel in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. 

The roka ceremony of #NickYanka — as goes the trending hashtag on social media — was held in Mumbai in August. They were engaged earlier in July when Jonas proposed to Priyanka on her 36^th birthday in London. According to reports, the couple will be flying to Jodhpur this afternoon to take part in their mehendi and sangeet ceremonies before taking their wedding vows on December 2. The grand wedding will be officiated over two separate ceremonies observing both Hindu and Christian traditions on the same day. The couple will then host a lavish reception for their friends and family in Delhi on December 3. 

Amid all the excitement surrounding her wedding, Priyanka has also started shooting for Shonali Bose’s upcoming film, The Sky Is Pink, which co-stars Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim. Meanwhile, Priyanka’s Assamese production, Pahuna, is scheduled for release on December 7.
