Saaho to be an Independence Day release

The film, which features Prabhas as an undercover cop, is produced by UV Creations and presented by T-Series

Prabhas' much-awaited action film, Saaho, will be the actor’s next global release after the blockbuster Baahubali franchise. Directed by Sujeeth, the film which is being made in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi, will hit the screens next year on Independence Day (August 15). The news was announced by the makers in a statement yesterday. 

Also featuring Bollywood actors Jackie Shroff, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Mandira Bedi and Shraddha Kapoor in pivotal roles, the film has stunts choreographed by international action director, Kenny Bates. The recently released Shades of Saaho teaser, which shows behind the scenes footage of the action sequences shot in Abu Dhabi, has raised expectations for the film. 

Saaho, which features Prabhas as an undercover cop, is produced by UV Creations and presented by T-Series. It has music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and cinematography by Madhie.
