The Elan-directorial Pyaar Prema Kaadhal, which released to positive reviews earlier this month, is getting a Hindi remake. The remake is to be produced by Sandeep Singh, who is also collaborating with Elan on another romcom, a Tamil-Hindi bilingual. Titled Punnagai Arasan in Tamil, this romcom will go on floors in December and is scheduled to be shot over 60 days in Leh-Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh.

Speaking about the film, Sandeep says, "Our crew will be drawn from both the Tamil and Hindi film industries. The male lead will be from Tamil cinema and he will be paired with a Bollywood actor. It will have six romantic songs by Yuvan Shankar Raja."
