Director Puri Jagannadh has confirmed that he will be launching his son Akash as a hero soon. According to our well-placed sources, the film is a romantic entertainer which takes place across Indian and Pakistani borders.

“It’s an out-and-out love story about a love that blossoms between an Indian guy and a Pakistani girl. Puri has locked the script and the film is likely to go onto the floors in October. The team is planning to wrap up the entire shoot in two months and release it early next year,” says a source.

Puri is also committed to directing another film starring Balakrishna in the lead. “After Paisa Vasool, Balakrishna and Puri have agreed to work together on another project. They will begin the shoot for that in January and release it during summer,” the source adds.

Word has it that Anand Prasad of Bhavya Creations banner is likely to bankroll this film. An official statement is awaited.
