We had earlier told you that director Suseenthiran's Nenjil Thunivirundhal had been trimmed by more than 20 minutes, and that almost all of the cuts involved the female lead Mehreen Pirzada's portions. This was done due to the feedback received from audiences and critics, and the director had even apologised to the heroine.

Now Suseenthiran has released a statement saying the film will not be screening in theatres from today due to unavoidable reasons and instead will be re-released on December 15th. He also thanked everyone who had watched the film in theatres and given constructive feedback.

Nenjil Thunivirundhal is a Tamil-Telugu bilingual featuring Sundeep Kishan, Vikranth, Harish Uthaman, Mehreen Pirzada, Shathiga and Soori. Produced by Annai Film Pictures, the film has Laxman Kumar behind the camera and D Imman in charge of the music.
