Actor Lakshmi Priya, who is well known for her soap Mahanadi, is set to step into Bigg Boss Tamil Season 10 , which commences today with a grand launch. Before making her foray, she shared her mindset about the show and what the audience can expect from her in it.

She first stated that this show is about Lakshmi Priya the human and not the soft-spoken actor. "This is not to say I am not sweet or nice. I am that. But I am not just that. I too have a temper and will change my approach if the person opposite crosses me."

She was also candid about the set of contestants she liked and those she disliked. "I wish and hope this season is like the one in which Raju, Priyanka and Sandy were a part of. That way, not just me, the audience too will love the show," she said, adding that the ninth season was a bummer for her. "I cannot put up with behaviours displayed by people like Paaru, "Watermelon Star" Diwakar, and Kamruddin."

Calling the concept of 'common man' fresh, she said she is eager to meet them. 'Common people will bring a new flavour to the show. Those who support me are from the common people,' she stated, while further adding that she will be vocal and that her presence of mind will be her strength. "I am one such person who will not keep quiet like it's none of my business when someone gets wronged. So you can feel my presence in the show. I also view the show as a launchpad for my acting career."

For the unversed, the contestants need to stay in the Bigg Boss house for 100 days and will remain or be eliminated by people's votes. Throughout the 100 days, the contestants' character, team spirit, and strategy in the games and activities will be put to the test, and the best performer will be crowned at the end of the season.
