Jason Koushi has qualified for Bigg Boss Tamil season 10 through its spin-off show, offering ordinary people from the state an opportunity to entertain the main house. Hailing from Thoothukudi and now settled in Chennai, Jason's selection to Bigg Boss has sparked much discussion among the audience. Regarded as the show's first-ever commoner contestant, Jason recently spoke about his experience working on the Bigg Boss spin-off show and his expectations for the main event.
Jason Koushi said that his wife encouraged him to apply for Bigg Boss Common Man. "The journey has been amazing from day one. The judges groomed us, and it has been a beautiful experience as part of the learning process for Bigg Boss," Jason said.
Jason added that he is facing much hatred on social media. "After all this I understood, I need to have an ego death experience before entering Big Boss, because I have to face lot of critics, either in a good, bad, or extreme way," Jason explained before adding that the spin-off has prepared him for the main show.
"The Common Man is a schooling which prepared me mentally and physically with regard to the expectation to meet what it takes to be a good participant in the Big Boss house," he shared.
With actor Vijay Sethupathi as its host, Bigg Boss Tamil season 10 has known faces from the world of entertainment as contestants, alongside commoners such as Jason. However, Jason said that he does not view them as celebrities and is not faced by their presence in the show. "To see them as celebrities, to level up to them and see them, I don't have that vision. Instead, I look at them normally," he shared.
Saying he feels no pressure about entering the show, Jason asserted, "I want to give a good show."
