Subedaar (Prime Video, March 5)
Anil Kapoor will be seen in a desi action-heavy avatar after ages in this gritty action-thriller film directed by Suresh Triveni (Tumhari Sulu, Jalsa). The veteran superstar here plays an ex-army officer who is forced to unravel his ruthless, ferocious self even in his new life as a civilian, when he finds himself and his daughter (Radhikka Madan) cornered by a local sand mafia crimelord.
Subedaar also stars Mona Singh, Khushbu Sundar, Faisal Malik, and Saurabh Shukla in key roles.
Hello Bachhon (Netflix, March 6)
After Kota Factory, TVF is back with yet another show about the complexities and pressures of educational system in India, and a small-time physics teacher who became a beacon of hope for millions struggling to cope with the pressure. Hello Bachhon is based on the life of Alakh Pandey, aka Physics Wallah.
Vineet Kumar Singh plays the lead role in the 5-episode series which also features Girija Oak and Vikram Kochhar in key roles.
Jab Khuli Kitaab (ZEE5, March 6)
Pankaj Kapur and Dimple Kapadia headline the bittersweet relationship drama about an old married couple that finds himself in a crisis after five decades, when the husband finds a long-buried secret about her ailing wife.
Written and directed by Saurabh Shukla, the film also stars Aparshakti Khurrana as a bumbling lawyer, Samir Soni, Nauheed Cyrusi, and Manasi Parekh among others.
