Prime Video unveiled the trailer for their upcoming original series, The Better Sister, on Wednesday. Jessica Biel and Elizabeth Banks star in lead roles in this thriller series.
The Better Sister revolves around Chloe (Biel), a successful media executive, and her lawyer husband Adam, who seem to have it all living happily with their teenage son Ethan, but their perfect life is shattered when Adam is murdered. As the prime suspect sends shockwaves through the family, Chloe's estranged sister Nicky (Banks) returns, and together they navigate a complex family history to uncover the truth behind Adam's death.
Described as an electric thriller with eight episodes, The Better Sister is based on the eponymous novel by Alafair Burke. Olivia Milch and Regina Corrado are the creators of the series. Corey Stoll, Maxwell Acee Donovan, Gabriel Sloyer, Kim Dickens, and Bobby Naderi are also a part of the cast.
Directed by Craig Gillespie, The Better Sister is all set to premiere on Prime Video on May 29.
