Gulshan Devaiah and Saiyami Kher’s 8 A.M. Metro gets OTT release date

Gulshan Devaiah and Saiyami Kher’s 8 A.M. Metro will be released on Zee5 on May 10, the makers announced on Friday. The film is written and directed by Raj Rachakonda and tells the story of two strangers who travel in the metro each day and develop an unlikely connection. It is based on the Telugu novel Andamina Jeevitam by Malladi Venkata Krishna Murthy.

Zee5 posted the film’s poster on X while making the announcement and wrote, “Yeh kahaani hai doh anjaan logon ki jo rojmarra ke safar mein bann gaye pakke dost!(This is a story of two strangers who become friends in the hassle of everyday life). Dekhiye ek dilchasp kahaani (Watch an intriguing tale) 8 A.M. Metro premieres 10th May.”

The film is produced by Raj Rachakonda and Kishore Ganji. It notably features seven poems written by Gulzar blending with the story. It was released in theatres on May 19, 2023 and received positive reviews from audience and critics.
