Trailer of Rudy Mancuso-Camila Mendes' Musica out

Loosely based on Rudy Mancuso's real life, the film is set to premiere on Prime Video on April 4

Prime Video unveiled the trailer of Música, the streamer's original film helmed by Rudy Mancuso, who has also starred in the lead alongside Camila Mendes. The film will premiere on the streaming platform on April 4. 

Música, a coming-of-age love story is also co-written by Mancuso. The trailer shows Mancuso's struggle with a phenomenon called synesthesia that causes the experience of multiple senses at once. With an uncertain future, he is tasked with juggling his family responsibilities, his love and his Brazilian culture. 

Música is losely based on Mancuso's life experiences. He grew up and found success in life while struggling with synesthesia. Mancuso began his career with the now-defunct app Vine, and then established himself as a YouTuber, with his channel Awkward Puppets.

Francesca Reale, J.B. Smoove, and Maria Mancuso are also a part of the cast of Música.  McG and Mary Viola will produce alongside executive producers John and Sam Shahidi from Shot Studios, Wonderland's Steven Bello, Lagana, and Mendes.
