Netflix announced on Monday that the Money Heist spin-off, Berlin has been renewed for another season. “The iconic character, played by Pedro Alonso, will be back with a new heist and more love,” the streaming platform announced on Monday. 

Berlin season 2 will see the return of actor Pedro Alonso, who plays professor's right-hand Andres de Fonollosa, or the titular Berlin. Michelle Jenner an expert in electronic engineering, Tristán Ulloa a philanthropic professor and Berlin's confidant Damián, Begoña Vargas as Cameron, Julio Peña Fernández, and Joel Sánchez will also reprise. 

The first season of Berlin premiered on Netflix on December 29. The second season is set to begin production in 2025. Created by Álex Pina and Esther Martínez Lobato, the series is also written by them, along with David Oliva, and David Barrocal. The series is backed by Vancouver Media.
