The Prime Video original, Música, helmed by Rudy Mancuso, who has also starred in the lead alongside Camila Mendes, will premiere on the streamer on April 4. The streamer made the announcement on Thursday, also revealing that the film will have its premiere at the upcoming SXSW Film Festival 2024.

Música, a coming-of-age love story is also co-written by Mancuso. The film is set to follow a creator with a phenomenon called synesthesia that causes the experience of multiple senses at once. With an uncertain future, he is tasked with juggling his family responsibilities, his love and his Brazilian culture.

Música is losely based on Mancuso's life experiences. He grew up and found success in life while struggling with synesthesia. Mancuso began his career with the now-defunct app Vine, and then established himself as a YouTuber, with his channel  Awkward Puppets.

Francesca Reale, J.B. Smoove, and Maria Mancuso are also a part of the cast of Música.  McG and Mary Viola will produce alongside executive producers John and Sam Shahidi from Shot Studios, Wonderland's Steven Bello, Lagana, and Mendes.
