Trailer of anthology film Lantrani out

The film will be released on Zee5 on February 9

The trailer of the anthology film Lantrani was released on Friday. The film is a collaboration of three National award-winning directors, Gurvinder Singh, Kaushik Ganguly, and Bhaskar Hazarika who have directed their independent films, Dharna Mana HaiHud Hud Dabang, and Sanitized Samachar, respectively. All three films are part of Lantrani and feature Johny Lever, Nimisha Sajayan, Jitendra Kumar and Jisshu Sengupta in pivotal roles.

The trailer gives a glimpse into all three stories which present an unusual incident from the rural side of the country. One of the stories is based during the Covid-19 pandemic while another one is about a police constable who is given a job to take a criminal to court one day. The third one is about a scheduled caste woman who gets selected as a first-time member of the Sarpanch.

Lantrani will be available to stream on Zee5 on February 9.
