On Thursday, Netflix announced that the fourth season of Sweet Magnolias will premiere on the streamer on February 6. The forthcoming season will consist of 10 episodes. The series is based on the novel of the same name authored by Sherryl Woods.

Sweet Magnolias follows the story of the three best friends, played by JoAnna Garcia Swisher, Brooke Elliott and Heather Headley, as they shepherd each other through the complexities of romance, career, and family.

The series first premiered on Netflix on May 19, 2020, and was later renewed for a second season in July 2020. The series' third season was renewed in May 2023 and premiered in July 2023.  

Developed by Sheryl J. Anderson, Sweet Magnolias also stars Chris Klein, Jamie Lynn Spears, Carson Rowland, Logan Allen, and Chris Medlin.
