‘Megham Karukatha' is one of the most popular songs in Tamil cinema. It won a National Award for Best Choreography for Jani Master and Sathish Krishnan, although the former withdrew the recognition in light of the sexual harassment allegations against him.

The actors participated in a dance performance with the Thiruchitrambalam song at an event in Germany. Their synchronised dance moves have been leaving an indelible impression on netizens ever since Sania dropped a glimpse of it on social media. The cultural event took place on June 26 at the Rudolf Weber Arena in Oberhausen.
