Joju George says Eko makes Malaylam cinema proud

The actor shared his late review of the film, which is now out on Netflix

Positive appreciation keeps coming in for director Dinjith Ayyathan's Eko, starring Sandeep Pradeep, Biana Momin, and Saurabh Sachdeva in the main roles. The latest to express his appreciation for the psychological thriller is actor Joju George. In his Instagram post, Joju acknowledged the fact that he was late to watch the film while praising it. Sharing a poster of the film, he wrote, "Fantastic cinema I watched in recent times by Dinjith Ayyathan and team. Sorry for the late watch, congratulations dear Dinjith, this makes Malayalam proud, Thank you for Eko."

In their response, team Eko expressed their gratitude to Joju for his words of praise for the film. In their post, they said that the film keeps receiving "huge appreciation from every corner." Dinjith, who directed the film from Bahul Ramesh's screenplay, said that Joju's appreciation for the film "means a lot" to him. In a recent conversation with CE, actor Narain, who played a key supporting role in the film, said that he has been receiving phone calls from different parts of the world asking doubts about his character and the film. The other day, actor Dhanush and The Girlfriend filmmaker Rahul Ravindran also praised its and its lead actor Biana's performance in it.

Reuniting Dinjith and Bahul with the core technicians from their previous film Kishkindha Kaandam, the film grossed over 50 crore from theatres worldwide. It is now streaming on Netflix.
