The makers of the Nivin Pauly-Mamitha Baiju starrer Bethlehem Kudumba Unit have released the film’s second single titled ‘Illey Illa’. Unlike the soulful mood of the first song ‘Maanthrikam’, the new track is a lively number that offers a glimpse into the film’s fun-filled romantic comedy premise.

Composed by Vishnu Vijay, ‘Illey Illa’ has lyrics by Suhail Koya and vocals by Kapil Kapilan. The accompanying video features Nivin, Mamitha and the rest of the supporting cast in a playful setting.

Directed by Girish AD, Bethlehem Kudumba Unit is scripted by the filmmaker along with his Premalu co-writer Kiran Josey. The upcoming film also marks Girish’s reunion with Mamitha and Sangeeth Prathap following their collaboration on Premalu. Nivin and Mamitha, meanwhile, previously shared the screen in Ramachandra Boss & Co.

Bethlehem Kudumba Unit's ensemble cast also includes Suresh Krishna, Bindu Panicker, Vinay Forrt, Roshan Shanavas, Shyam Mohan, Shameer Khan, Srinda, Parvathy Ayyappadas and Meenakshi Raveendran, among others. The film is produced by Dileesh Pothan, Fahadh Faasil and Syam Pushkaran under the Bhavana Studios banner. The technical crew includes cinematographer Ajmal Sabu, editor Akash Joseph Varghese, production designer Ashik S and stunt choreographer Action Sandhosh.

Bethlehem Kudumba Unit was shot across locations including Chalakudy, Pollachi, Goa, Hyderabad and Kuttikkanam over a schedule spanning more than 100 days. The film is set to hit theatres on August 21 as one of the Onam releases alongside Dulquer Salmaan's I'm Game and Prithviraj Sukumaran's Khalifa.
