Days after starting production on the third instalment in the Drishyam franchise, writer-director Jeethu Joseph dropped a frame from filming that gives a first look at the film's characters. In the frame is Georgekutty (Mohanlal) and Rani (Meena) as well as their two daughters, played by Esther Anil and Ansiba Hassan, having food at a table. Jeethu also shared similar stills from the franchise's first and second parts alongside this one, captioning the post, "Drishyam Table Trilogy".

As we reported earlier, production on Drishyam 3 is underway at the house that stood for Georgekutty's residence in Vazhithala, Thodupuzha. Reportedly, the building has been armed with new changes, including a veranda extension, fresh painting, and greenery. Now, it also features an AC room in light of the family's evolving situation. Filmmaker Jeethu took a long time to find the house and confirm it for the first film in the Drishyam franchise. As with the previous instalments in the franchise, those who own the house are limiting their occupation to a single room, even as the film's makers proceed with production.

The makers of Drishyam 3 are yet to reveal any plot details. However, Jeethu has said that the film will not be a thriller, like the earlier parts, and has asked the audience to keep their expectations in check.
