Birthday wishes are pouring in from all corners for actor Chandu Salimkumar, who is fresh off a starring turn in the latest industry hit Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra. Earlier today, Lokah team shared an image on Instagram referring to his character in the film and wished him. "Happy Birthday Venu," read the post. The film's lead actor Kalyani Priyadarshan and its actor-producer, Wayfarer Films' Dulquer Salmaan, also extended their heartfelt wishes to Chandu.

Kalyani shared a still where she can be seen alongside Lokah writer Santhy Balachandran and a Chandu who is fast asleep. "Happy (real) birthday," she wrote, tagging her Lokah co-star. On the other hand, Dulquer called Chandu his "bestie" in a birthday post. "Have the best year bestie! Hope everything this year is just the best," wrote Dulquer as text in a photograph of Chandu. The blockbuster film's stars Tovino Thomas and Nasel also conveyed their wishes, as did Chandu's Manjummel Boys co-star Soubin Shahir.

On the other hand, in a hilarious post, Aparna Balamurali seemingly alluded to the presence of Chandu Salimkumar in two of Malayalam cinema's biggest blockbusters in recent times: Lokah and Manjummel Boys. Describing Chandu as the person she approaches "for even the slightest inconvenience," Aparna highlighted the former's recent success. "This year's already been a banger (casually throwing industry hits) and praying that the next one's gonna be even bigger! Love you Champiaa!!" wrote Aparna.
