Althaf Salim's new film as a lead actor was announced on Saturday. Written and directed by Yatheendran, the film looks like a legal drama from its announcement poster. Maqtro Motion Pictures is producing the film in association with Kavilamma Productions.
Ashokan, Azees Nedumangad, Rony David Raj, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, Anand Manmadhan, Vineeth Viswam, Abin Bino, Praveena, Muthumani, Jayan Raja, Krishnaprabha, and Sheethal Zakaria are also part of the new film's cast. It has cinematography by Arjun Accot, music by Prince George, and editing by Akash Joseph Varghese.
Althaf Salim next has Innocent, a comedy entertainer, gearing up for release on November 7. Directed by debutant Satheesh Thanvi, it reunites Althaf with Anarkali Marikar after last year’s Mandakini. The film also marks the Malayalam debut of Tanzanian social media personality Kili Paul.
Althaf is also headlining Pluto, a science fiction comedy, alongside Neeraj Madhav. It is directed by debutant Niyas Muhammed. Althaf will also be seen as the lead in Manmadhan, directed by Anas Kadalundi. He also plays a minor role in the upcoming Nivin Pauly-Akhil Sathyan film Sarvam Maya.
