The makers of Mr & Mrs Bachelor, starring Indrajith Sukumaran and Anaswara Rajan, unveiled the film’s trailer on Sunday. Directed by Deepu Karunakaran, who is known for helming Crazy Gopalan (2008), Winter (2009) and Teja Bhai & Family (2011), the upcoming film is scheduled for release on May 23.

The trailer opens with a voiceover announcing that the MLA’s brother’s daughter has gone missing, juxtaposed with visuals of Anaswara’s character on the run. Indrajith’s character is then introduced, seen offering her a lift. It soon becomes apparent that she is a runaway bride. It then follows the duo as they set off on a journey, gradually forming an unlikely friendship. The film promises to be a feel-good comedy entertainer centred on a couple with a noticeable age gap.

Written by Arjun T Sathyan, Mr & Mrs Bachelor also features Deepu, Dayyana Hameed, Rosin Jolly, Biju Pappan, Rahul Madhav, Sohan Seenulal, Manohari Joy, Jibin Gopinath and Laya Simpson. The technical crew includes cinematographer Pradeep Nair, editor Sobin Soman and music director PS Jayahari. The film is produced by Prakash Highline under the banner of Highline Pictures.
