The dispute between director Deepu Karunakaran and actor Anaswara Rajan regarding the promotional commitments for their film Mr & Mrs Bachelor has been resolved following the intervention of the Film Employees Federation of Kerala (FEFKA) and the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA). A meeting to settle the matter was held at the AMMA office in Kochi on Saturday.

The disagreement arose after Deepu accused Anaswara of neglecting promotional activities for the film, while the actor countered these claims, stating she had fulfilled her responsibilities and was not kept informed about the film’s release date. She also alleged that Deepu had attempted to dissuade her from attending the shoot due to payment issues with the producer.

Following the discussions mediated by industry bodies, both parties have reached an understanding. Anaswara has now agreed to participate in the film’s promotional activities. Reports indicate that Deepu approached AMMA for resolution after Anaswara filed a formal complaint.

Mr & Mrs Bachelor, headlined by Anaswara and Indrajith Sukumaran, was earlier scheduled to release on August 23 last year.
