Naslen has dismissed claims that he demanded a higher fee than his co-actor Asif Ali for the upcoming actioner Tiki Taka, calling the reports completely baseless. The Premalu actor made the remarks in an interview with Reporter TV as part of the promotions for his upcoming fantasy film Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra, co-starring Kalyani Priyadarshan, which is scheduled to release during Onam.
Recently, widespread abusive posts targeting Naslen appeared on social media, including claims that he had been removed from Tiki Taka, Mollywood Times and the much-anticipated sequel to Premalu, which is now on hold. The actor described the rumours as part of a coordinated cyber attack but stressed that he does not get upset over such allegations. “Most of it is just rumours. People write what they feel like. There’s no point in responding,” he said.
Naslen added that the directors and producers of the films had clarified the situation, and that the Tiki Taka rumours ended once he started shooting for the film recently. He emphasised that the film itself will speak for itself and that he prefers to focus on his work rather than engage with social media speculation.
