Mohanlal took to his Instagram Stories to wish Malavika Mohanan, his co-star in director Sathyan Anthikad’s upcoming film Hridayapoorvam, on her birthday. Malavika replied to the message, saying, “Laletta, thank you. Hridayapoorvam has been one of my loveliest experiences and I cannot wait for the world to watch it.”

On the occasion, the film’s makers also shared a new poster featuring Mohanlal and Malavika’s characters. Hridayapoorvam stars Mohanlal as a character who goes through a heart transplant. The film, which reunites Mohanlal and Sathyan Anthikad ten years after Ennum Eppozhum, commenced production in February this year. The filmmaker’s other son, Anoop Sathyan is also part of the film as an associate director. The film stars Sangita, Sangeeth Prathap, Janardhanan, Siddique, Lalu Alex, Nishan, and Baburaj well.

On the technical front, it has cinematography by Anu Moothedath, music by Justin Prabhakaran, and editing by K Rajagopal. Antony Perumbavoor’s banner Aashirvad Cinemas is producing the film, which is slated for an August 28 release in theatres. Also releasing on Onam are Fahadh Faasil’s Odum Kuthira Chadum Kuthira, Shane Nigam’s Balti, and Kalyani Priyadarshan–Naslen’s Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra.
