With the counting of votes currently happening in Tamil Nadu, Vijay's TVK has been leading, sparking premature celebratory buzz online. While fans and supporters have been sharing posters of Vijay as the chief minister from the morning, members of the film fraternity have now started sharing their congratulations to the actor-turned-politician.
While Tiger Shroff was the first to praise Vijay, Nani has now said, "Congratulations, Vijay sir. First doubted and then crowned. It happened at our home, and now it’s happening in our neighbouring home. An underdog winning is always absolute cinema (or should I say absolute politics?). Hope great things follow for the people of Tamil Nadu who have made their decision clear." (sic)
