The funeral comedy Vyasanasametham Bandhumithradhikal will have its digital premiere on manoramaMAX on August 14. Starring Anaswara Rajan, Siju Sunny, Joemon Jythoir, Mallika Sukumaran, and a bunch of others, the film is about the passing away of an old woman and the confusion centered around her final rites.

Vyasanasametham Bandhumithradhikal, scripted and directed by debutant S Vipin, was lauded by many for its dark humour and the satirical take on the issues surrounding a funeral in rural Kerala. It also starred Azees Nedumangad, Baiju Santhosh, Noby Marcose, and Arun Kumar in key roles. Many newcomers also got noticed for their performances. Rahim Aboobacker handled the cinematography, with music by Ankit Menon and editing by Johnkutty.

Filmmaker Vipin Das, best known for directing Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey and backing Vaazha, co-produced Vyasanasametham Bandhumithradhikal along with the Telugu-based production house Shine Screen Cinema.
