With Mohanlal's much-anticipated film, Malaikottai Vaaliban, helmed by the acclaimed director Lijo Jose Pellissery, set to hit the theatres on January 25, we have learned that the film will have two parts.

According to inside sources, Malaikottai Vaaliban will not be a single film, and its story will be told in two parts. Recently, there were speculations that Mohanlal and Lijo Jose Pellissery would be teaming up again after the actor wrapped up shooting for the Joshiy directorial Rambaan. The reunion is most likely for the second part of Malaikottai Vaaliban

Malaikottai Vaaliban is one of the most ambitious projects in Mohanlal's career. It marks his first collaboration with Lijo. According to reports, in the film, Mohanlal will be playing the role of a wrestler from the pre-Independence era.
