Actor-filmmaker Ramesh Pisharody's next directorial will be headlined by Soubin Shahir. It is scripted by Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award winner Santhosh Aechikkanam, who earlier penned the screenplay of films like Nidra, Annayum Rasoolum, Chandrettan Evideya and Njan Steve Lopez.

The upcoming film, produced by Badusha Cinemas, is Ramesh Pisharody's third outing as a filmmaker. He made his directorial debut in 2018 with the Jayaram, Kunchacko Boban-starrer Panchavarnathatha and followed it up with Mammootty's Ganagandharvan, the next year. Last year, on Chingam 1, Ramesh Pisharody had also announced another film to be produced by Vijay Babu's Friday Film House.

Meanwhile, Soubin has Jan.E.Man-fame Chidambaram's Manjummel Boys, Lal Jr's Nadikar Thilakam and Boban Samuel's Machante Malakha coming up. Besides playing one of the leads, Soubin is also doubling up as a producer in Manjummel Boys.
