Rifle Club trailer: Aashiq Abu's film promises a quirky action spectacle with a dynamic ensemble

The trailer for Aashiq Abu's multistarrer Rifle Club, set to hit screens worldwide on December 19, was dropped on Wednesday. Syam Pushkaran, Dileesh Karunakaran and Suhas have together scripted the film, billed as an action spectacle.

The 3-minute, 37-second trailer opens with a colonial-style building surrounded by lush greenery. Dileesh Pothan’s character, smoking and drinking, explains the thrill of hunting to Vineeth Kumar’s character. Rex Vijayan’s score enhances shots of firearms and glimpses of its ensemble cast, including Darshana Rajendran, Surabhi Lakshmi, Unnimaya Prasad, Vijayaraghavan and Vani Viswanath, among others. The trailer also teases antagonists played by Vishnu Agasthya, Anurag Kashyap, and rapper Hanumankind. The trailer ends with intense shootouts, promising a quirky action entertainer with a dynamic ensemble.

Rifle Club's elaborate cast also includes Vincy Aloshious, Suresh Krishna, Ramzan Muhammed, Senna Hegde, Natesh Hegde, rapper Baby Jean, Ponnamma Babu, Ramu, Navani Devanand, Parimal Shais, Sajeev Kumar, Niyaz Musaliyar, and Kiran Peethambaran.

Aashiq also serves as the cinematographer for Rifle Club, which has music composed by Rex Vijayan, editing by V Saajan, and production design by Ajayan Chalissery. The film is produced by Aashiq's home banner OPM Cinemas in association with TRU Stories Entertainment.
