The other day, Ajayante Randam Moshanam star Tovino Thomas shared on Instagram a poster of Basil Joseph as a character named KP Suresh while giving the director-turned-actor a birthday wish. Tovino describes KP Suresh as a person who "strikes the perfect balance between intensity and humour" and has "unforgettable moments" with his titular character, Ajayan. Tovino also shared a making video from director Jithin Laal's film where Basil rows a canoe while singing the 'Vennila Chandana Kinnam' song from Azhakiya Ravanan.

Tovino and Basil reunite with Ajayante Randam Moshanam, also known as ARM, after collaborating on the superhero film Minnal Murali. Apart from them, the film stars Krithi Shetty in her Malayalam debut. Krithi plays a character named Lekshmi who is Ajayan's love interest. Aishwarya Rajesh, Surabhi Lakshmi, Rohini, Harish Uthaman, Nisthar Sait, Jagadish, Pramod Shetty, Aju Varghese, and Sudheesh round out the cast.

The logline of ARM reads thus: "Set in northern Kerala, three generations of heroes, Maniyan, Kunjikelu, and Ajayan, try to protect the most important treasure of the land." Jithin Laal is directing the film from a screenplay by  Sujith Nambiar. UGM Productions' Dr Zachariah Thomas is producing the film with with Magic Frames' Listin Stephen. Jomon T John is the cinematographer, Shameer Muhammed is the editor, and Dhibu Ninan Thomas is the music and background score composer for the film.

Tovino's next releases also include Nadikar, Identity, and L2: Empuraan. On the other hand, Basil awaits the release of Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil, which also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran and Nikhila Vimal and marks Yogi Babu's Malayalam debut.
