The trailer for the Malayalam film Sureshanteyum Sumalathayudeyum Hrudayahariyaya Pranayakadha dropped the other day. The film, written and directed by Ratheesh Balakrishnan Poduval, stars Rajesh Madhavan and Chithra Nair in lead roles. These are the same characters who appeared in the recent Kunchacko Boban starrer satire Nna Thaan Case Kodu. As in that satire, Rajesh Madhavan plays his auto driver role in Sureshanteyum Sumalathayudeyum Hrudayahariyaya Pranayakadha. The trailer shows his Sureshan coming to what looks like a funeral function in his autorickshaw and wearing a shirt with a flower print, hinting at the element of humour in the script.

Sureshanteyum Sumalathayudeyum Hrudayahariyaya Pranayakadha is produced by Silver Bay Studios and Silver Bromide Pictures. The makers had earlier released a first-look poster of the film with three different versions of its leads, Rajesh and Chithra, sharing an embrace. The trailer also shows the leads wearing clothes and makeups that hint at the multiple timelines in the plot. The cast of the film also features Kunchacko Boban and Sudheesh.

The film has music by Dawn Vincent, sound design by Anil Radhakrishnan, editing by Akash Thomas, and cinematography by Sabin Uralikandy. It is slated for a May 16 release.
