Toby, the recently released Kannada film starring filmmaker Raj B Shetty in the lead role, will release in Malayalam on September 22. Dulquer Salmaan's Wayfarer Films will be releasing in Kerala.

Chaithra Achar, Samyukta Hornad, Gopalkrishna Deshpande are also part of the cast. The film is directed by Raj’s former associate, Basil AL Chalakkal. Apart from playing the titular role, Raj has penned the story. In the film his character embodies the spirit of Maari, a persona primarily motivated by his inner self, exhibiting both individuality and mass appeal.

Toby is produced by Lighter Buddha Films in association with Agastya Films. The film has Raj B Shetty collaborating with music director Midhun Mukundan and cinematographer Praveen Shriyan again.
