Shooting for Abraham Ozler, the upcoming Jayaram-starrer, has been wrapped up. The film marks Midhun Manuel Thomas' return to direction three years after Anjaam Pathiraa.  He is also producing it with Irshad M Hassan under the banner of Neramboku.

Scripted by Dr Randheer Krishnan, Abraham Ozler is a medical thriller in which Jayaram plays a senior police officer's role. Mammootty is said to be playing a cameo in it. The cast also includes Arjun Ashokan, Anaswara Rajan, Saiju Kurup, Arya Salim and Senthil Krishna. 

Music director Midhun Mukundan, editor Saiju Sreedharan and cinematographer Theni Easwar comprise the core technical team. Though the makers were initially planning for a Christmas release, they are now eyeing to release it in January, 2024.

Midhun Manuel Thomas next has Phoenix, a horror thriller scripted by him, getting ready for release. Directed by his former assistant Vishnu Bharathan, the film is set to hit screens this Friday (November 17). Aju Varghese, Chandhunadh, Nilja and Anoop Menon star in it.
