Jayaram's next, Abraham Ozler, directed by Midhun Maneul Thomas commenced production on Saturday. The film marks the veteran actor's comeback to Malayalam industry after a brief gap. His last Malalayalam film to hit screens was Makal (2022), which is also his only release in the language in the last three years.

Abraham Ozler will have Jayaram sporting a salt and pepper look. Others in the cast include Arjun Ashokan, Anaswara Rajan, Saiju Kurup, Arya Salim and Senthil Krishna. Music director Midhun Mukundan, editor Saiju Sreedharan and cinematographer Theni Easwar comprise the core technical team.

Scripted by Dr Randheer Krishnan, the film is said to be a medical thriller. It is Midhun Manuel's second successive thriller after the success of Anjaam Pathiraa. He is also producing the film with Irshad M Hassan under the banner of Neramboku.

Meanwhile, Midhun is also simultaneously scripting two other films, Garudan and Phoenix. While Garudan is a legal thriller starring Suresh Gopi and Biju Menon, Phoenix is a horror thriller headlined by Anoop Menon, Aju Varghese and Chandhunadh.
