It was recently announced that Mammootty would be next teaming up with debutant Deeno Dennis for a film titled Bazooka. Its launch is planned to be held on Wednesday with a pooja ceremony in Kochi. Theatre of Dreams and Saregama's Yoodle Films are jointly backing the film.

Deeno is the son of veteran screenwriter Kaloor Dennis. Apart from directing, he is also scripting Bazooka. Tamil filmmaker Gautham Vasudev Menon and Shine Tom Chacko will be seen essaying key roles in the film. Its technical crew includes editor Nishad Yusuf, music director Midhun Mukundan and cinematographer Nimish Ravi. 

Mammootty, last seen in the Telugu film Agent, also has Roby Varghese Raj's Kannur Squad and Jeo Baby's Kaathal coming up.
