As reported earlier, Romancham director Jithu Madhavan's next stars Fahadh Faasil and a set of youngsters in major roles. The film said to be titled Aavesham, was widely speculated to release during the Onam season in August. But with Dulquer Salmaan's hugely hyped King of Kotha, the multi-starrer RDX and the Basil Joseph-starrer Falimy also eyeing Onam release, it is learnt that the makers of Aavesham have opted to pull out of the race.

Billed as a Bangalore-based campus entertainer, the upcoming film has Fahadh playing a goon's role. The actor was recently seen shooting for the film in his Pushpa look. His wife Nazriya and filmmaker Anwar Rasheed are jointly backing the film, which has Sameer Thahir as the cinematographer and Sushin Shyam as the composer.
