Earlier, we had reported that director Shanavas K Bavakutty, who is best known for helming Malayalam films  Kismat and Thottappan, is collaborating with veteran script writer Raghunath Paleri for an upcoming film. The latest update is that the yet-to-be-titled film launched on the auspicious occasion of Chingam 1, aka Malayalam new year, with a customary pooja. 

The upcoming film stars Hakkim Shah, Priyamvada Krishnan and Poornima Indrajith in the lead roles. As per the makers, the upcoming film is an urban rom-com with some thrilling elements. It is to be noted that Raghunath Paleri's popular writing credits include  My Dear Kuttichathan, Ponmuttayidunna Tharavu, Piravi, Meleparambil Aanveedu, Pingami and Vanaprastham. He last penned the Jayaram, Urvashi-starrer Madhuchandralekha.

The upcoming film also stars Shruti Ramachandran, Vijayaraghavan, Shammy Thilakan, Janardhanan, Ganapathi, Jaffer Idukki, Azeez Nedumangad, Manohari Joy and Unniraj. It will have music by Hesham Abdul Wahab, edits by Manoj and cinematography by Eldhose Nirappel.
