Actor Hakkim Shah suffered injuries to his head while shooting for the upcoming Mammootty-starrer Bazooka on Sunday evening. Following the concussion, Hakkim is currently under observation. The accident occurred during the filming of a chase sequence when the bike he was riding collided with a divider near the Grand Hyatt hotel. He was immediately rushed to Aster Medicity by the makers, who also announced a schedule break.

Hakkim, an assistant director-turned-actor, is noted for his roles in Pranaya Vilasam, Kadaseela Biriyani, and The Teacher. In a recent interview with us, the actor revealed that it was Mammootty who suggested him for the role in Bazooka after being impressed by his performance in Pranaya Vilasam.

Bazooka, directed by debutant Deeno Dennis, also stars Gautham Vasudev Menon, Shine Tom Chacko, Iswarya Menon and Sidharth Bharathan. Mammootty completed shooting for his portions recently.
