Mammootty, who recently wrapped up the shoot of Roby Varghese Raj's Kannur Squad, will start working on debutant Deen Dennis' film next. Produced by Theatre of Dreams, this yet-to-be-titled film is set to go on floors later this month. The makers are currently working on its pre-production, which includes finalising the cast.

As per latest reports, ace filmmaker Gautham Vasudev Menon has been signed to play a pivotal role in the film. Though he has acted in a few Malayalam films before, this will be his first outing with Mammootty. He was last seen in Malayalam in a cameo role in Lovefully Yours Vedha.

The upcoming Deen Dennis film, which is reportedly a thriller, will also have Shine Tom Chacko in a key role. Nimish Ravi, who cranked the camera for Mammootty's Rorschach, has been retained. More details regarding the project are awaited.
