We had earlier reported about Roshan Mathew and Shine Tom Chacko playing the lead roles in director G Marthandan's next. The makers are now planning to begin shoot. A customary pooja ceremony is set to be held on September 28 in Kochi. Sujith Balan is backing the film under the banner of SB Films. It is the banner's maiden production.

This yet-to-be-titled film, scripted by Ratheesh Ravi of Ishq-fame, marks Marthandan's comeback after four years. The director has made films like Daivathinte Swantham Cleetus, Acha Dhin, Paavada and Johny Johny Yes Appa.

Roshan Mathew, last seen in Kotthu, has Gold, Chathuram and Chera coming up. He is also said to be making his Telugu debut with the upcoming Nani-starrer Dasara. Shine Tom Chacko, meanwhile, is part of several upcoming projects including Padavettu, Djinn, Roy, and ace filmmaker Priyadarshan's next.
