Kichchas Kings Bengaluru emerged champions at the Indian Racing League (IRL) in Greater Noida, sealing a dominant performance on the track. The victory celebration quickly became a special tribute to Karnataka, as team owner Priya Sudeep marked the occasion with cultural pride.
The win coincided with Kannada Rajyotsava, making the podium celebration doubly meaningful for the team and its supporters. The Gautam Buddha Nagar Police Commissioner attended the closing ceremony as the chief guest, presenting trophies alongside Priya to the top podium finishers.
During the ceremony, Priya handed the Commissioner the iconic yellow-and-red Kannada shawl, requesting him to drape it over the winning drivers. The highlight was championship driver Ruhaan Alva standing proudly on the podium draped in the state colours, creating a memorable moment that resonated far beyond the racetrack.
On the occasion, Priya spoke about the spirit of Kannada Rajyotsava. She noted that wherever Kannadigas achieve success across the globe, they carry their language, heritage, and pride along with them. Her heartfelt gesture earned widespread appreciation, blending high-speed motorsport success with regional pride on a major national platform.
