Brinda Vihaari seems to have tapped into the festival mood with its first song, 'Hey Rama Rama', unveiled on the occasion of Ram Navami. The track arrives quietly, without too much noise, but leaves behind a gentle, lingering impression.
Headlined by Golden Star Ganesh, who has built a loyal audience over the years with his easy, relatable screen presence, the film reunites him with director Srinivasa Raju. Their earlier outing, Krishnam Pranaya Sakhi, had found favour with listeners, especially for its music, and that memory naturally adds a bit of curiosity around this one.
'Hey Rama Rama', written by Dr V Nagendra Prasad, leans into a devotional space but doesn’t go overboard. Hesham Abdul Wahab’s composition keeps things simple and easy on the ears, while Anurag Kulkarni’s voice carries the emotion without trying too hard. It’s the kind of song that slowly grows on you rather than demanding instant attention—and that seems to be working in its favour, going by the early response online.
Produced by Samruddhi V Manjunath under the Virat Sai Creations banner, Brinda Vihaari is being put together on a fairly grand scale. Srinivasaraju is also behind the story and screenplay, suggesting a film that’s likely rooted in emotion but packaged for a wider audience.
The film also stars Devika Bhatt and Malavika Sharma alongside Ganesh, with a supporting cast that brings in familiar, experienced faces. For now, it’s the music that’s doing the talking—and if 'Hey Rama Rama' is anything to go by, Brinda Vihaari might just be taking its first steps in the right direction.
