KD, which has been creating a buzz for various reasons—especially its controversial song—has now grabbed attention again, with director Jogi Prem unveiling an exciting update. The commercial entertainer starring Dhruva Sarja had earlier sparked reports about Kichcha Sudeep being part of the project. This has now been officially confirmed by the team. Sudeep is set to play a powerful role named “Kaala Bhairava,” adding significant weight to the film’s ensemble cast.

The film also stars V Ravichandran, Ramesh Aravind, Sanjay Dutt, Shilpa Shetty, and P Ravi Shankar, among others, with Nora Fatehi appearing in a special song. While Dhruva Sarja plays the role of Kaali Dasa, Reeshma Nanaiah appears as the female lead.

The makers introduced Sudeep’s character with a striking note, stating that while some names inspire fear, this one creates “chaos.” The first look of Kaala Bhairava has been released, though it intriguingly does not fully reveal Sudeep’s face, adding to the mystery surrounding his role.

KD, directed by Jogi Prem, had earlier sparked controversy due to its song “Sarse Sarse Ninna Seraga Sarse,” which drew criticism and national attention. However, this latest announcement has shifted the focus back to the film’s scale and star power.

Produced by KVN Productions, which is also backing Jana Nayagan and Toxic, KD features music by Arjun Janya and cinematography by Satya Hegde. The film is slated for release on April 30.
