With Anushka Shetty's Ghaati, directed by Krish Jagarlamudi set for release soon, the film's Karnataka distribution rights have been taken up by Pushpa Arun Kumar, mother of Kannada star Yash, who makes her debut as a distributor under her new banner, PA Films.

For Pushpa, this move goes beyond business. She has long admired Anushka’s work, and distributing Ghaati is a reflection of the same feeling she carries for the actor. The association also carries regional pride, as Anushka hails from Karnataka, making the release a special one for audiences across the state.

The South Indian film industry has often thrived on such meaningful collaborations, and Ghaati is another example. Its recently released trailer has been well received, drawing attention for its gripping narrative and strong visuals. The response has helped the film create a positive momentum ahead of release.

The film's music has further added to the excitement. Songs like 'Sailore' and 'Dassora' are already trending on platforms, with listeners appreciating their distinct sound. The success of the music has given Ghaati a strong presence even before it reaches theatres.

The film also stars Vikram Prabhu, Chaitanya Rao Madadi, Jagapathi Babu, Raghav Rudra Mulpuru, Jisshu Sengupta, John VijayRavindra Vijay, and Devika Priyadarshini among others. The film's cinematography is by Manojh Reddy Katasani and music by Nagavelli Vidya Sagar.

Ghaati is slated for release in theatres on September 5.
