Dasappa stars Thamanna, the actor known for the National award winning film Thithi, in the titular role. Directed by Vijay Keelara, who fulfilled his 15-year-directorial dream, the film delves into the life of the Dasappa community, exploring the reasons for their existence, including the traditional reverence they command, amidst village politics and disputes. The director, hailing from Mandya’s Keelara, described Dasappa as a portrayal of rustic charm, inspired by Thithi. The cast also includes Manju Pavagada, Vinod Gobaragala, Anjana Girish, Surakshitha Shetty, and Sinchana Gowda, among others.

Dasappa is produced by Anand, Raghavendra, and Srinivas. ARS is the production banner associated with the film. Shot in locations such as Keelara, Mandya, Channapatna, and Ramanagara, Dasappa’s trailer was recently unveiled through Siri Music’s YouTube channel.
