Tamil soap actor Rajeshwari has passed away after being found unresponsive at her house. Rajeshwari was known for her role in Siragadikka Aasai and Bakkiyalakshmi

According to News Tamil 18, the actor was engaged in a dispute with her husband after which she left her marital house in Broadway, Chennai and reached her mother's house in Saidapet. Reportedly she overdosed on blood pressure medication, that was in her mother's house.

Rajeshwari was subsequently admitted in a hospital, where she passed away despite receiving treatments. The actor was reportedly 39 years old.

She was known for her roles in Siragadikka Aasai, as Arun's mother, and as Bakkiyalakshmi's friend in the eponymous soap, Bakkiyalakshmi. The former soap follows the story of a young couple's relationship and the tribulations they face. Meanwhile, Bakkiyalakshmi follows the story of a joint family's journey through life, with the eponymous characters in the centre.
