A few weeks ago, we had reported about Nayanthara and Salman Khan commencing shoot for the Vamshi Paidipally film in Mumbai, after a grand muhurtham puja ceremony. Dil Raju is producing the film, tentatively titled SVC63, under Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. While other cast member details are yet to be officially announced, reports are now coming in about makers considering some A-listers for the antagonist’s role.
According to some reports, the SVC63 team has approached Akshaye Khanna and Fahadh Faasil to play the villain’s role. However, it is not confirmed yet whether either of the actors have given a go-ahead to the offer.
While Fahadh Faasil has earlier worked in Telugu films, most notably the Pushpa franchise, this will be Akshaye’s Telugu debut if the reports turn out to be true. SVC63 also marks the first time Salman and Nayanthara will be seen together on the big screen.
Salman also surprised all his fans a few weeks ago, by announcing Eid 2027 as the release window for the project, almost a year in advance.
Vamshi is known for making films like Brindavanam (2010), Yevadu (2014), Oopiri (2016), Maharshi (2019) and Varisu (2023).
